What a fabulous week we have had, lots going on and much fun to be had, but it’s fair to say that with Sunday’s outing, we finished the week with a bang.

On Sunday Sellebrity Soccer were hosting a celebrity football match at Northampton Town Football Club and we were invited to get involved. Timken Grange sponsored the green team who had the name of our home emblazoned on their shirts.

It was a fabulous day, firstly we had front row seats from which we had a perfect view of the action. We were treated to refreshments and invited to meet the players and to pose for photographs.

The tickets were offered to all residents; however, it was only us gents that took up the kind offer and turned the afternoon into our very own jolly boys’ outing.

It felt great to be pitch side and to be able to enjoy the atmosphere of live football. We watched proudly as our team ran out onto the pitch wearing our name on their shirts.

The game was fun to watch, and we cheered every time our boys in green scored a goal. The afternoon flew by far too quickly.

It was perfect, the sun was shining, the beers were cold and to top it all, our team were victorious. Thank you to Sellebrity Soccer for involving us, I have no doubt that we shall be talking about this for quite some time to come.
