Louise Mulvany

My Name is Louise, I have four grown up children and a grandson, I have worked in the health and social care sector for 35 years,

I started my care journey when I was in the girl guides working towards my care badge, every weekend I would go the local hospital and sit with the elderly patients and assist them with eating, drinking and read to them, after I earned my badge I continued to go every weekend until I was old enough to get a job in the care sector. I started as a carer and have worked my way up, after arriving at Timken grange nearly 3 years ago as a senior carer I have progressed to medication manager, deputy manager and now care manager.

I am passionate about the care we provide, and our bespoke approach to each individuals care needs which is provided by our fully trained care team. Whilst already having various qualifications within the sector, I am currently studying for a BSC Honours in Health and Social care, and I am excited to be utilising my skills and being able to further my career. Being able to support my team, creating a great place to work and help them embark on their own careers in care is important to me. I am driven by my passion for the elderly and providing exceptional care wherever I go. I am truly dedicated to the improvement and advancement of care techniques and delivering these in an environment that puts our residents at ease, thus allowing them to have their freedom and enabling them to live an enriched life.
